To make the name distribution process as fair as possible, initially, names will be distributed through auctions, rules:
ICNS names minimum length is 3 and maximum length is 63, and must only contain lower-case alphabetic characters(a-z), numbers(0-9) and ‘-’, any other characters are invalid. e.g.:
The auction period is set to 3 days, if anyone places a bid in the final 10 minutes, the auction is extended by 1 hour.
Anyone can start an auction on an available name
Anyone can place a bid in an ongoing auction, the minimum raise is 0.1 WICP
If the auction ends and you are the top bidder, you will be able to claim the name; if you are out bid, you will be able to withdraw your fund in my account
page.
If you want to start an auction on a name, the bid price must be greater than the minimum bidding price, if you want to raise bid in an ongoing auction, the price raise must be greater than the minimum raise price. If you win an auction, you get 1-year usage of the name, if not renewed, the name expires and will be open for registration.
